CRUMBLING WINDOW SILL REPAIR. After time, sandstone windows sills if unprotected start to crumble, the stone is porous and water ingress makes the stone weak. If there is water ingress, when it freezes it has a good chance of blowing the face or bottom off due to expansion and contraction.

Rebuilding broken and crumbling sandstone window sills are one of our specialties. This featured property had 7 sandstone sills in total that needed repairs. Joints in between the stones also where smoothed out. Removal of the crumbling stone was first to get back to a solid substrate. Flacking paint removed also. We then cast the stone and shape where necessary. Once all the missing pieces of stone where cast and rebuild we then smoothed all the surface out ready for painting.  Namco’s expert technicians can repair damage to any worktop surface with invisible results.
